A day of Fun in the Oh so Hot sun:)

I am so thankful this pregnancy isn't holding me back from doing fun things with Ty and Kiley. I know once the babies get here finding time to do anything outside of the house for the first several months is going to be a challenge. Pretty soon I am facing the possibility of being put on bed rest, because of the fact that I am having twins-and my size. I don't see myself carrying to term- even though that is what I am praying and hoping for.
So, while time and these babies allow I am up and about enjoying life, summer weather and being a mom to my 2 other kiddos. With Tyler gearing up to start kindergarten here very soon I am trying to make this summer a summer of fun for him! I Can't believe my little baby is starting kindergarten so soon, but that's a whole other blog post:)
Jas and I decided to take the kids to Six Flags, in Vallejo. I was so worried about the weather just because, even with 100 SPF smeared all over us in layers somehow Kiley and I manage to burn. With in the first 5 minutes of being in the sun I turn red like a tomato. Ty is lucky- I can lather him up and he won't burn. But the weather was on our side. It was beautiful out and while it was warm it wasn't unbearable hot. Luckily they have lots of water areas to play in as well so we were set. The kids had a blast- and I think Jas and I did too. Watching them enjoy themselves makes any trip like this worth while. The food, rides and shows were great. The kids loved the dolphins- especially Kiley. She wanted a dolphin plush toy for her souvenir- Ty of course wanted candy. That boy- any time he can gets an excuse to get some candy in him hes all for it! He ended up picking out the most random thing-a flashlight with his name on it. Only my son!
The only hard part of the day for me was the fact that I couldn't go on any of the rides. I know why obviously but I would have loved to have been the one to take Kiley on her first ride. Luckily her auntie took her in my place. At the end of the day we were beat- but it was totally worth every second!!!
